Resolución del CC del PCM sobre el caso de Sandino [1930-06-04]
_________

Mexico incognita and was very much interested in keeping away from the Party.
At the same time, Pavletich gave us a letter from Sandino, addressed to him and dated in Mexico, April 21, in relation to a book about Nicaragua written by Pavletich himself. This letter read mainly as ollows: After a series of considerations about some chapters of your book, have arrived at the conclusion that we cannot make definite judgment about the causes of our arrival and permanence in Mexico believe it is premature to judge conclusively or to formulate definite charges upon questions subject to the judgment of History. In consequence you should await a further authorization to make the ratifications and rectifications necessary before publicly launching your book so that it could have documentary value. In order that you should normalize your point of view, please note what am communicating to you that the activities of the general representative, Dr. Pedro Jose Zepeda have been approved, and that at the same time we have ratifie the confidence of the Army and the nomination extended in the city of Veracruz on the 29th of June, 1929.
At the time news items appeared in the Mexican press with declarations of Dr. Zepeda saying that Marti had been discharged from the Army because he had been discovered betraying the cause of Nicaragua, acting as a spy for the Communist Party. At the same time the CC learned thru Pavletich who in turn learned from Constantino Gonzalez that Sandino had had a conversation with Portes Gil and had obtained from him two Thompson Machine guns, 4000 rounds of ammunition, and a promise of the thousand rifles if Sandino himself would undertake their transportation to Nicaragua. Portes Gil besides had given Sandino two thousand pesos for travelling expenses.
Gonzalez also informed that since August 1929 Sandino had been receiving two thousand pesos a month and that to enable him to move his people from Merida he had obtained funds from the Governor of Yucatan, Garcia Correa.
Sandino left Mexico with the same disc retion he arrived, without the CC having any contacts ore receiving one single letter him.
The local of our Party in Veracruz has informed us that upon his arrival from Merida and before leaving for Mexico he created in Veracruz an Anti Imperialist League composed of employees, intellectuals, petty bourgeoisie and spiritualists. Naturally, this Sandinist League has not had any contact with Ladla.
Recently the CC obtained from Esteban Pavletich the original of his book and acquainted itself with the concrete charges of Pavletich against the Mexican government and Zepeda which can summarized as follow:
